Race Preview: Tour of Chongming Island

The 2024 Tour of Chongming Island takes place in Shanghai’s Chongming district from Oct. 15-17, with 18 teams and 100+ riders scheduled to participate. This WorldTour 3-day stage race is a sprinter’s dream with its flat course profile and will also be one of the last chances for teams to score UCI points before the season ends.

The 349.3km race will cross through 17 towns on Chongming Island and traverse protected forests, wetlands, and reserves.

Teams competing: 4 WorldTour teams (UAE/ADQ, CERATIZIT-WNT, Human Powered Health, Roland), 13 Continental-level teams, and 1 Chinese National Team.
